Mumbai, Sep 24: The makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-awaited film Love and War have unveiled the first look featuring Ranbir Kapoor, offering the first glimpse of the actor in his yet-to-be-revealed character.

The poster presents Ranbir in a previously unseen avatar, set against Bhansali's elaborate period-drama aesthetic. The accompanying background music adds to the mood of the reveal, while the makers have kept details about the story and characters under wraps.

Sharing the poster on social media, the makers captioned it, “Woh rutba, woh raub, woh junoon!” The post also confirmed the film's theatrical release date as January 21, 2027.

Love And War stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles. The film marks another collaboration between Ranbir and Bhansali after Saawariya, which marked Ranbir's acting debut in 2007.

Bhansali is also reuniting with Alia after Gangubai Kathiawadi. Ranbir and Alia previously shared the screen in Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva in 2022, while Alia and Vicky last worked together in Raazi in 2018.

The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Produced by Bhansali Productions, Love And War is scheduled to hit theatres on January 21, 2027.
