Mumbai, Jun 16: Actor Rohan Gurbaxani, who plays a key role in the upcoming romantic drama ‘Metro… In Dino’, has opened up about his unique experience working under acclaimed director Anurag Basu. Calling it ‘one of the most unique experiences’ of his career, Rohan revealed that Basu doesn’t work with a script—a method both “terrifying and liberating.”

Known for his roles in Bandish Bandits 2, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, and Made in Heaven 2, Rohan shared, “Working with Dada has to be one of the most unique experiences I’ve ever had. He’s a director who doesn’t work with a script. Going on set every day not knowing what you’re going to do it’s a beautiful combination of being terribly scared and just letting go, trusting his process completely.”

In Metro… In Dino, Rohan plays Aryan, an IT professional-turned-painter living in Goa. He shares the screen with noted actors Konkona Sen Sharma and Pankaj Tripathi in a narrative segment that explores contemporary relationships.

Speaking about how the film pushed his acting boundaries, Rohan said, “Working with him teaches you how to think on your feet and trust your impulses. His process indirectly questions your craft and inevitably compels you to develop a new process of your own.”

Metro… In Dino is the final chapter in Basu’s much-loved “hyperlinked trilogy” and features an ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta. The film explores modern-day love, heartbreak, and human connections.

Presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt Ltd, the film is directed by Anurag Basu, with music composed by Pritam. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu and is set to release in theatres on July 4.
