Mumbai, Jul 5: Actress Urvashi Rautela has officially begun filming for her upcoming movie "Kasoor 2", starring alongside singer-actor Jassie Gill. After much speculation about her involvement, the former beauty queen has now joined the sets of the romantic drama.

While on set, the duo took a break from filming to hop on the viral "Dame Un Grrr" trend. A behind-the-scenes video showed Urvashi and Jassie enjoying a light-hearted scooter ride, captioned: “Dame Un Grrrr @jassie.gill.”

Speaking about the collaboration, Jassie Gill had high praise for his co-star, calling her “the most beautiful girl in the universe” and “our queen of Cannes.” He added, “I’m truly happy to do our first film together with 'Kasoor 2'. She’s an incredibly versatile and talented actress.”

Urvashi Opens Up on Cannes 2025 Wardrobe Mishap

Urvashi also addressed the much-discussed wardrobe mishap she experienced during her appearance at Cannes 2025.

She revealed that the tear in her gown occurred when her car made a sudden stop to avoid hitting a 70-year-old woman crossing the road.

“In that moment, I felt not loss but gratitude — for her safety, our survival, and the opportunity to walk the red carpet with a story worth telling,” she told reporters.

She added that the incident became a symbol of resilience:

“True strength lies in perspective. I choose to tell this tale not of a torn dress, but of a heart intact, a spirit unbroken, and a commitment to shine for my nation. Fortune favors the bold, and I stepped onto that carpet not as a victim, but as a queen of resolve.”

Urvashi’s next cinematic outing in Kasoor 2 promises a blend of romance and drama — and marks her first on-screen pairing with Jassie Gill.
