Mumbai, Jul 13: In a shocking incident, television actor and Bigg Boss 18 contestant Kashish Kapoor has been robbed of Rs 4.5 lac in cash from her residence in Andheri, Mumbai. An FIR has been registered against her domestic help, Sachin Kumar Chaudhary, who has gone missing since the incident.

According to police sources, Kashish Kapoor had kept Rs 7 lac in her cupboard to send to her mother in her hometown. When she went to retrieve the money, she found only Rs 2.5 lac remaining. The rest had vanished.

Suspicion immediately fell on Sachin, who had been working at her house. He allegedly disappeared soon after the incident, raising serious doubts about his involvement. An official complaint has been filed at Amboli Police Station, and efforts are underway to trace the accused.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Sachin had carefully planned the theft and fled with a portion of the cash before anyone could notice.

Speaking to the media, Kashish Kapoor expressed deep disappointment. “I am very hurt by this incident. I trusted that person, but he has hurt both my feelings and trust,” she said. “I hope the police will catch him as soon as possible and justice will be served.”
The case is currently under active investigation.
