Solapur, Jul 20: A major road accident in Maharashtra's Solapur district left eight people injured after a pickup van and a mini truck collided head-on in Pandharpur on Saturday evening.

The incident was caught on CCTV, which revealed the sequence of events leading up to the crash. In the footage, a vehicle can be seen approaching safely on its left side, moments before the pickup van swerves onto the wrong side of the road and crashes head-on into the mini truck.

Interestingly, neither vehicle appeared to be speeding at the time of the accident, as both were moving at a normal pace before the impact.

All eight injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the mishap and assessing whether driver error led to the sudden lane deviation.
