Mumbai, Aug 25: Bollywood actress Kajol has once again proved that grace and confidence are the perfect replies to online trolling. The star recently went viral after she appeared at an event in a chic black bodycon dress. While her look won praise for elegance, it also drew unwanted speculation from a section of social media users.

Instead of engaging with trolls, the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge actress turned the spotlight back on herself by sharing a series of striking pictures in the same outfit on Instagram. Captioning the post with a witty line — “Fairy tales in the not so distant future :- Smartphone smartphone on a stick who has the fairest profile pic?” — Kajol won over fans instantly. Admirers showered her with love, calling her “gorgeous,” “ageless,” and a “beauty queen of cuteness.”

The actress had worn the stylish black dress with metallic detailing to a recent event, keeping her look minimal with soft waves, subtle make-up and her trademark smile. However, a paparazzo video that zoomed in on her body quickly sparked speculation online, overshadowing her fashion statement.

Actress and TV host Mini Mathur strongly criticised the intrusive video, writing in the comments, “How dare you zoom in on her body? She doesn’t owe you guys eternal youth. You don’t get to decide how she should look.”

On the work front, Kajol was last seen in Sarzameen alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. She is set to reprise her role as Noyonika Sengupta in the upcoming second season of The Trial: Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha.
