Mumbai, Aug 26: Actress Soha Ali Khan, known for her candid nature and sharp wit, opened up about her relationship with husband Kunal Kemmu during the promotional campaign of her podcast All About Her. The couple, admired for their strong bond, also share a deep sense of companionship rooted in honesty and mutual respect.
Speaking to IANS, Soha revealed that if there's one thing Kunal cannot tolerate, it's dishonesty. “You cannot lie to him,” she said. “If someone tries to, he’ll get to the bottom of it—he’s like a detective. I’ve learned the hard way that even a small fudge doesn’t fly with him.”
Describing Kunal's personality at home, she said he wears his heart on his sleeve. “You can always tell when he’s in a good or bad mood. He doesn’t hide it. I, on the other hand, can be in a terrible mood and still be perfectly polite and charming. He’s more transparent emotionally.”
Soha added that Kunal is highly sensitive to values he holds dear—like punctuality, integrity, and efficiency. “He’s expressive and very clear about what matters to him. He expects people to be upfront and genuine,” she said.
Despite his seriousness when it comes to principles, she noted that he has a sharp sense of humor. “He’s funny. We saw that in Madgaon Express. If you're honest and good at your job, you’ll get along with him just fine.”
The couple, known for keeping things real both on and off screen, continue to be one of Bollywood’s most grounded and relatable pairs.
