New Delhi, Aug 29: High drama unfolded inside the Bigg Boss 19 house as a heated war of words broke out between actors Kunickaa Sadanand and Gaurav Khanna over the first captaincy task of the season.

The task, conducted under the supervision of Baseer Ali as sanchalak, saw contestants battling it out on a merry-go-round. One by one, participants including Amaal Mallik, Mridul Tiwari, Awez Darbar, Natalia Janoszek, Nagma Mirajkar, Neelam Giri, Pranit More, Tanya Mittal, Zeishan Quadri, Nehal Chudasama, and Gaurav himself were eliminated. By the final round, only Ashnoor Kaur, Kunickaa Sadanand, and Abhishek Bajaj remained in contention for captaincy.

Tensions escalated when Tanya whispered to Kunickaa that Gaurav had secretly backed Ashnoor to become the house’s first captain. Matters worsened after Amaal Mallik alleged that Gaurav had openly expressed his reluctance to see Kunickaa as captain.

When confronted, Gaurav denied plotting against his co-contestant. But Kunickaa lashed out, accusing him of “backstabbing” and betraying her trust. “You played this game with me,” she declared, sparking one of the season’s first big confrontations.

Bigg Boss later announced that a fresh captaincy task would take place, this time with Tanya Mittal as sanchalak. The suspense over who will eventually don the captain’s badge remains high as housemates continue to plot and strategise.
