Mumbai, Aug 30: Former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu is ready to shatter expectations with her Bollywood debut in Baaghi 4, an intense, action-packed thriller headlined by Tiger Shroff and set for a worldwide release on September 5. In a surprising turn from the usual beauty queen-to-screen journey, Harnaaz has chosen the explosive action genre for her first film — a move she says reflects discipline, stamina, and spirit.
Speaking at the exclusive trailer premiere held inside the Bigg Boss house ahead of its public release, Harnaaz acknowledged the unconventional choice: “Most people expected me to choose a role that played to the idea of beauty and grace, but it's incredible to have my first film break that mould. Action cinema demands so much more — and it’s an honour to enter the industry through this genre.”
She expressed deep admiration for the icons of action cinema and added, “I feel like I’m standing on the shoulders of legends. I hope this trailer marks the beginning of a longstanding relationship with the audiences.”
Baaghi 4 brings together a powerhouse cast featuring Tiger Shroff, Harnaaz Sandhu, Sonam Bajwa, and Sanjay Dutt, and is packed with gravity-defying stunts, raw drama, and ferocious face-offs. Directed by A. Harsha and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, the film has earned an ‘A’ certificate from the CBFC — a bold first for the franchise and production house — signaling a grittier, unfiltered direction for the popular series.
The movie also boasts a pulsating soundtrack, with tracks like Guzaara, Bahli Sohni, and Akeli Laila already topping charts and generating buzz.
Baaghi 4 continues the legacy of the successful action franchise that began in 2016 with the original film — a remake of the Telugu hit Varsham — and this latest installment promises to be the most intense yet.
