New Delhi, Sep 1: In the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, high drama unfolded as Kunickaa Sadanand gave up her captaincy following a heated exchange with fellow contestant Baseer Ali.
Kunickaa had faced criticism from housemates for her ‘rude’ approach during her captaincy. Matters escalated when Baseer Ali reminded her that he had sacrificed his chance at leadership to support her, only to be later labelled “unfit for captaincy” by her. Their disagreement soon intensified, after which Kunickaa stunned everyone by stepping down.
“I resign from my captaincy post right from this moment. If this is how they think about me, I'm giving it up,” she declared, adding that she would not be giving any more instructions and that the housemates could decide on the next captain. She also opted out of cooking duties, leaving others to manage.
By resigning, Kunickaa also lost the immunity that comes with the captaincy. She claimed she felt targeted in the house, alleging that others had been calling her ‘unstable and biased.’
Meanwhile, in a surprising twist, there was no elimination this week. Contestants nominated included Tanya Mittal, Gaurav Khanna, Zeishan Quadri, Neelam Giri, Pranit More, Natalia Janoszek and Abhishek Bajaj.
Adding to the drama, Salman Khan introduced a new element titled The Verdict Room. This week’s theme was ‘superiority complex,’ and housemates pointed fingers primarily at Tanya Mittal, while Ashnoor also featured in the list.
