Mumbai, Sep 23: Television star Ankita Lokhande is beaming with pride as her husband, Vicky Jain, gears up for his debut in Bollywood — not as an actor, but as an associate producer of the upcoming film Haq, which stars Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles.
Sharing her excitement on social media, Ankita posted a heartfelt message celebrating Vicky’s new milestone. “So proud of you, @realvikasjainn. Every step you take, every milestone you achieve makes me cheer even louder. And now, as an associate producer for this incredible film Haq, your dedication, hard work, and vision shine brighter than ever,” she wrote.
She also applauded the film’s cast and crew, giving a special mention to Yami Gautam, Emraan Hashmi, and director Vineet, among others. “Wishing you all the very best. This film is going to touch hearts, and I can’t wait to see it on the big screen! (7th November) Save the date,” Ankita added.
The actress also penned a warm note for producer Sandip Ssingh, highlighting their long-standing bond. “You are my chosen family. My first film as a lead actress was with you, and now Vicky’s journey begins with you too. So blessed to have you in our lives. Here’s to more success and shared dreams.”
The film Haq is inspired by the Supreme Court’s historic verdict in the Mohd. Ahmed Khan v. Shah Bano Begum case, revisiting one of the most pivotal legal battles in Indian history, dating back to the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Ankita and Vicky, who tied the knot in December 2021 after three years of dating, are considered one of Indian television’s most loved couples. The duo gained further popularity through their joint participation in Bigg Boss 17, where they showcased their strong bond despite the emotional challenges the show presented.
Recently, the couple faced a real-life challenge when Vicky suffered a severe hand injury, resulting in 45 stitches. Ankita stood firmly by his side throughout his recovery — a moment that further endeared the couple to their fans.
With Haq set to release on November 7, all eyes are now on Vicky Jain’s promising new journey in Bollywood, with Ankita proudly cheering from the front row.
