Chennai, Oct 30: Telugu star Nikhil Siddhartha, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming pan-Indian period epic ‘Swayambhu’, has appealed to the people of Pakistan not to fall for “false propaganda” being spread by the country’s military and its spokespersons.
Responding to a social media post that featured President Droupadi Murmu alongside Squadron Leader Shivangi Singh, countering Pakistan’s claim that the Indian Air Force officer had been captured, Nikhil wrote:
“The Pakistan public should not believe the false propaganda of the Pakistani Army & Pak Air Force spokespersons. Hope the Pakistanis smarten up and open their eyes to the truth. #OperationSindoor #OperationSindhoor.”

The actor’s remarks come amid heightened online misinformation surrounding the ongoing Operation Sindhoor, where multiple fake claims have circulated on social media.
On the professional front, Nikhil is set to headline ‘Swayambhu’, a grand-scale historical action drama directed by Bharat Krishnamachari. The film, produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios and presented by Tagore Madhu, has been generating immense buzz across the industry.
Nikhil will be seen in a never-before-seen warrior avatar, sharing the screen with Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh in lead roles.
A previously released poster showcased an intense battle scene — Nikhil wielding a sword, Samyuktha poised with a bow and arrow, and the symbolic ‘Sengol’ in the backdrop. The Sengol, regarded as a representation of power and righteousness, was also recently installed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi near the Speaker’s chair in the new Parliament building, signifying India’s ancient heritage.
The film boasts an impressive technical lineup, with Ravi Basrur composing the music, KK Senthil Kumar handling cinematography, and Tammiraju in charge of editing. Action choreography is by King Solomon and Stunt Silva, while M. Prabhaharan and Ravindra have designed the film’s lavish production sets.
‘Swayambhu’ is expected to be one of the most ambitious and visually stunning Telugu films of the year, combining intense action, historical grandeur, and a powerful message of valor.
