Mumbai, Apr 9: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar left the audience in splits after sharing humorous anecdotes from his school days during an episode of the quiz reality show Wheel of Fortune.

During the show, Akshay invited his childhood friend Jinesh to the stage and reminisced about their time together since kindergarten. Calling himself a “backbencher”, the actor revealed that both of them had failed multiple times during their school years.

“Hum log KG se saath mein hain aur KG se 9th grade ke beech mein hum log teen-teen baar fail hue hain,” Akshay said, drawing laughter from the audience.

The fun didn’t stop there as the actor playfully questioned his friend about the reason behind his failures. Jinesh, in a witty response, blamed Akshay, saying he failed because he spent most of his time with him.

The light-hearted exchange continued with Akshay teasing his friend about their younger days, joking that riding around town on bicycles to catch glimpses of girls was one of their favourite pastimes. Jinesh, in turn, cheekily asked the audience to decide who among them was more interested in doing so, adding to the laughter.

On the professional front, Akshay is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan. The film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav in key roles, and is set to hit theatres on April 16.

The actor’s candid revelations and playful banter once again highlighted his trademark humour, much to the delight of fans.
