The two-day summit, titled “Quantum Computation, Precision Instrumentation and Emerging Research Infrastructure,” brought together experts and academicians to deliberate on advances in modern scientific domains, including quantum technology.


Speaking on the occasion, Khader observed that enhanced research in agriculture could help tackle persistent challenges faced by farmers, while innovations in healthcare would contribute to improved medical services.
He also assured that he would take up the issue of government support for such research centres with the chief minister and the minister for science and technology, particularly in terms of subsidies.
Renowned researcher Prof Saptarshi Chaudhary lauded the initiative to establish a Quantum Computer Research Centre in a rural setting like Moodlakatte, noting that such facilities are usually confined to metropolitan cities.
IMJ president Siddharth J Shetty delivered the welcome address. Dr Parnika Das, scientific officer at VECC Kolkata, attended as chief guest.
The summit report was presented by IMJIR director Dr Satyajit, while Academic director Dr S N Bhat welcomed the gathering. Brand Building director Dr Ramakrishna Hegde proposed the vote of thanks, and the programme was compered by Professor Rajeshwari Shetty.
The summit marked a significant step towards promoting advanced scientific research infrastructure in rural regions.
