Mumbai, May 22: The makers of Maa Behen have unveiled the trailer of the upcoming crime-comedy, promising a chaotic mix of family drama, confusion, comedy and suspense.

The film stars Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and Dharna Durgaa in lead roles, alongside Ravi Kishan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh and Shardul Bhardwaj.

Set in Adarsh Colony, the story revolves around Rekha, Jaya and Sushma, a dysfunctional mother-daughter trio who unexpectedly find themselves entangled in a dead body mystery. As panic spreads and neighbours grow suspicious, the family attempts to hide the chaos unfolding around them.

Produced by Abundantia Entertainment in association with Opening Image Films, the film is directed by Suresh Triveni. The movie is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on June 4.

Speaking about the film, Suresh Triveni said the story combines chaos, comedy and emotional complexity within a dysfunctional family setup. He added that each character brings a unique energy, making the narrative unpredictable and deeply human.

Madhuri Dixit, who plays Rekha, said the character differs from the conventional mother roles usually portrayed in Hindi cinema. She described Rekha as flawed yet deeply caring towards her daughters while trying to hold the family together amid chaos.

Triptii Dimri, who essays the role of Jaya, described her character as responsible yet constantly dragged deeper into confusion and bizarre situations. She also called sharing screen space with Madhuri Dixit a surreal experience.

Ravi Kishan termed the film a memorable experience and said he was excited to collaborate with Madhuri Dixit for the first time.

Dharna Durgaa, making her streaming debut with the project, said she instantly connected with her character Sushma and enjoyed the chaotic chemistry shared among the three women in the film.

With family conflicts, emotional meltdowns, crime and comedy packed together, Maa Behen promises a loud and unconventional entertainer when it releases on Netflix on June 4.
