Mumbai, Jun 16: Television actor Sanchita Ugale, known for her roles in popular shows such as Kumkum Bhagya, Wagle Ki Duniya and Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi, was found dead at her residence in Mumbai's Nalasopara area. She was 22. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
According to police, the incident took place on the evening of June 14 at her home in Nalasopara East. Ugale was reportedly found hanging in her bedroom, which was locked from the inside. Family members rushed her to a hospital, where doctors declared her dead. No suicide note has been recovered so far.
Officials said a police team inspected the scene immediately after being alerted and did not find any signs of foul play. An Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been registered while further investigations are underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to her death.

Ugale had gained recognition for portraying Diya Tandon in the television serial Kumkum Bhagya and also appeared in Wagle Ki Duniya, Saajan Ghar, Crime Patrol and Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi. She was also seen in the films Chhaava and Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout.
Her sudden death has sent shockwaves through the television industry, with colleagues and fans expressing grief over the loss of the young actor.
