Hyderabad, Jul 29: Actress Ritu Varma has penned a heartfelt note celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Telugu blockbuster Pelli Choopulu, expressing gratitude to fans for their unwavering love and support over the years.
Taking to Instagram, the actress, who starred opposite Vijay Deverakonda in director Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam's acclaimed romantic comedy, reflected on the film's enduring legacy.

"Ten years later and my heart is still full. It's hard to believe that a small film made with so much love has become such a timeless part of so many people's lives," she wrote.
Ritu said the film had given the cast and crew much more than they had ever imagined.
"Pelli Choopulu gave us far more than we could have ever imagined. It gave us memories, friendships, opportunities, and most importantly, it gave us all of you," she said.
Thanking audiences for keeping the film alive over the years, she added, "To everyone who laughed with us, rooted for these characters, and carried this film in their hearts over the years… thank you. Your love is the reason this journey continues to feel as special today as it did on release day. Yours always, Chitra."
On the professional front, Ritu has several projects in the pipeline, including director Sankalp Reddy's historical action film Bharatavarsha, starring Gopichand in the lead role.
The makers recently unveiled her first-look poster, revealing that she plays the character of Sathyavathi. The poster features the actress aiming a bow and arrow, highlighting her fierce warrior avatar.
Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner and presented by Pavan Kumar, Bharatavarsha is being mounted on a grand scale.
The film, directed by Sankalp Reddy, is expected to portray a significant yet lesser-known chapter of Indian history. It features cinematography by Soundar Rajan, music by Anudeep Dev, action choreography by Venkat, Pruthvi and Real Satish, and dance choreography by Shankar and Vijay Polanki.
