Hyderabad, Aug 7: The makers of Nani-starrer The Paradise on Thursday released the much-awaited teaser of the upcoming Telugu action drama and announced that the film will hit theatres worldwide on September 24.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, the pan-India film stars Nani in the lead role alongside Raghav Juyal, who plays the antagonist. The film revolves around the struggle of a marginalised tribe fighting discrimination and seeking recognition and citizenship.

The one-minute-42-second teaser introduces Nani as Dhagad in an intense action-packed avatar, while Raghav Juyal appears as the ruthless Vikram Maalik. Featuring gritty visuals, large-scale action sequences and a powerful background score, the teaser offers a glimpse into the film's dark and dramatic narrative.

The teaser has been released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, with the Telugu version crossing 9.3 million views on YouTube within hours of its release.

The film, which was initially slated for release on March 26 before being postponed to August 21, is now scheduled to arrive in cinemas on September 24. It will be released in eight languages — Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English and Spanish.

The Paradise marks the second collaboration between Nani and director Srikanth Odela after the success of Dasara in 2023.

Apart from Nani and Raghav Juyal, the film also features Mohan Babu and Sampoornesh Babu in key roles. It is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, with Ishan Saksena serving as co-producer.

The film's music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while Navin Nooli is the editor and CH Sai handles cinematography.

Nani was last seen in HIT: The 3rd Case, while Raghav Juyal's most recent release was Bhai Tera Star Hai.
