Mangalore, Mar 30: Mount Carmel Central school kindergarten graduation day was held at the school Grounds on Friday 30th March 2012 at 8.45 am. The chief guest of the day Prof Rolphie Mascarenhas, director of Kanachur Academy of General Education delivered the convocation address and awarded the convocation certificates to 77 upper kindergarten graduates.

Addressing the parents, Rolphie said, “Kids are gifts from God. We should not compare our child with others. It is against the commandment of God. God has a purpose for each child. Education is helping the child to provide an environment so that the child become what the capable of become. Purposes are different for each child. Each one of us should realize that our children come through us, we don’t give them life we only give them birth. God gives life to them. So, a child's home and school both are the environments for the kids to grow".

Three children of upper kindergarten shared the experiences of their first learning journey of two years at Mount Carmel Kindergarten school and thanked the management, principal, teachers, parents and friends who were responsible for their growth. The tiny tots of lower KG then entertained the gathering of parents and well-wishers with a short programme.
