Very unfortunate.. agree to some extent with KANNADIGA, BAHRAIN.. students should be guided properly..and for those who find it hard and who cannot cope up their studies should receive proper counselling.. not sure if there is any counselling centres in Karnataka or elsewhere.. number should be made available at school and also distributed among lectures who can individually speak to these misguided kids..

Fail in SSLC is not the end of the world. He might be good at something else and can't force him to do something which does n interest him. there's history, architecture, design so many other fields wherein you can excel.. these counselling centres can help these kids realize their true talent.

The education authorities must make it compulsory for all schools to give counselling to the Grade 10 and Grade 12 students in January every year. If they find students who are weak in studies, there should be continuous follow-up to ensure these students do not take such drastic steps. The parents also need one round of counselling.

Really disgusting to read children taking extreme steps due to failure in exams. I feel introduction of yoga from class 7th can be helpful to children who lack concentration in studies. everyday compulsory yoga can be of great help. mind and body becomes light and can help in increasing memory power. it will help children to give more interest in their studies and there will be less failure around. All schools have to implement it. the sooner the better.

Some people say teacher's fault few say parents. What was the child going through no one knows except the boy himself. One has to understand what the children are going through lot of stress during exam time as well the results are nearing each child in unique in his own way.Societies obsessed with sucess and achivement, failure can be made to feel like the worst thing that could ever happen to a person. There is always some thing to learned from it about how to overcome failure through having a right attitude, failure helps to create balance in ones life and presents an opportunity for personal growth accepting the inevitability that things won't always go your way.Stop worrying start laughing yes,the sun will come up again tomorrow. All the children out there before taking any foolish step think 100 times.

Vishwas Poojary failure is the stepping stone of success. You did the wrong thing. You should have thought about mother before committing such thing.

May his soul rest in peace.

Very sad to hear the news, thinking myself and dreaming about my presence in the area of the boy who made suicide ? I would have console him and saved his life. Poor boy, what was in his mind God only know's, for nothing he lost him self, I can't imagine how his mother will console to her self. 16 years she looked after him and this is the Gift Or Punishment ???

If the school management would have taken some initiative to find mental difficulties of the their SSLC student, this loss would have saved(At-least school can open counselling for all/such Students) Anyway, no use of comments now, only I can pray to the Almighty Father to grant VISHWAS POOJARY, eternal life, let his soul rest in Peace also to give strength and currage to his mother to bare the loss. Praying The missing Boy SHRAVAN KUMAR, for his safe return back home. I think, fear of his parents, he might gone away, hope n pray, he will not harm to his life.

Sad. We have to learn many lessons from such incidents.

It is time to the Syllabus Committee, School Management & Parents / teachers committee to open their eyes and go for soul searching to find out where we went wrong.

Just teaching Academic Subjects in the school/colleges is not enough. In the first phase The school management and the teaching staff shoul have some subjects/activities whih will boost the MORALITY, GOOD ATTITUDES and the COURAGE among students to face the challenges of life either they are in a loss or in gain. Just loosig the results once or twice is not the END of the life. If one door is closed God Almighty opens many more other doors to the people. But we should search for that with a bold heart and feelings. Just loosing the heart and feelings will not help any way instead it will damage and worsen the thing.

We request the State Govt., Syllabus Committee, School Management and Parents / Teachers Committees to look into the INNOVATIVE steps and introduce the MORAL LESSONS on top priority in Schools and colleges and boost the image, feelings, personality and the courage of our dear STUDENTS who are assets for the parents as well as for our nation.

VERY WRONG STEP..Studends must understand that getting Degree or Master Degree is not the only one aim or goal in the life.Sometimes those who have Master Degree don't know how to face real challenges in life.At the same time, ordinary, school or college out man effortlessly overcome all problems in life. But Education helps us to have good life.Thats why parents, teachers force student to do good in exams.Unfortunately they don't teach HOW TO SURVIVE when you are stranded in the middle of the sea ! For that we should believe ourselves that we will swim this ocean of problems and reach shore. We have to have confidence in ourself.
1.Tenazing failed six times and 7th time he was successful and on the top of Mount Everest.Every one in the world knows Tenazing who was a school out.
2.Famous scientist Albert Einstein didn't study well in schools.Every one in the world knows who is Einstein.
3.There are millions of people who failed in the school and reached success in the life with hard work, detemination and confidence.

Lack of guidence from parents is the main cause for suicide among young children. In this competion era parents always wants their child to be No.: 1 in all aspects. In Karnataka there are no councelling centres and government should open councelling in all schools .....

IT IS REALLY SAD.TODAYS SOCIETY HAS NOT TAUGHT CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENT TO ACCEPT THE FAILURES.WHEN WE ACCEPT THAT LIFE IS A BUNDLE OF SUCCESS AND FAILURES,AND THERE IS ALWAYS SCOPE FOR IMPROVEMENT,WE WILL NOT TAKE THIS KIND OF DECISION.THE PRESENT EDUCATION SYSTEM,WHERE CHILDREN ARE PROMOTED TILL SSLC WITHOUT PREPARING THEM TO ACCEPT FAILURES TOO IS A CAUSE FOR SUCH DECISION.THE MIND IS SET THAT FAILUR IS UNACCEPTABLE AND IT IS A BIG INSULT AND END OF EVERYTHING...RETHINKING OF THE VERY EDUCATION SYSTEM IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR.

This is very sad. Its the high time we abolish mark standards and pass/fail propaganda. And switch onto grade systems , so that there vl not be any 'failed' results. The society is very cruel , average students specially if they fail r mocked by society as if they hav committed a cardinal sin. Most of the school outs who i have seen in my life , have made it big in the life later. Marks and education has got nothing do with ones success in life and highly overated. Interestingly , those who get good marks opt for science , followed by commerce and then arts ( humanities). But once they finish up studies , science peaple work as Engr or doctor in an orgn , commerce results in bankng etc , and the last arts ( humanities) take very high positions like lawyer or civil servants. It should not be noted that , this stream (arts) often neglected produce such peaple who rule the country and make laws.

It's sad to see students ending their lives and their parent's dream before fulfilling it. Today's children are very sensitive to failures, we should guide them properly. My deepest condolences to the family of deceased. Shravan, come back this is not the end of the road. " Tomorrow is always there".

VERY SAD. TEACHER'S ARE ONLY THE MAIN REASON FOR THIS.

THEY COULD HAVE INFORMED BEFORE & PUT SELF CONFIDENCE IN THEIR STUDENTS PRIOR TO EXAMINATION.
