Shemaroo to Release Management Film - Chanakya Speaks


Mumbai, June 27 (IBNS) Film content company Shemaroo Entertainment is all set to unvei  its first ever management film ‘Chanakya Speaks - The 7 Pillars of Business Success’ on DVDs, primarily targeting the decision makers and leaders in the corporate sector, managers, businessmen, management students and trainees.

The production of the film is inspired from the bestselling book ‘Corporate Chanakya’ authored by Radhakrishnan Pillai.


 The story revolves around the quest of a young business executive trying to rediscover Chanakya's teachings in today’s cluttered competitive space.

One of the 'Construct for Governance' in the book Kautilya’s Arthashastra is called 'The Saptangas' - meaning “The 7 Pillars of a Successful Kingdom”.

Pillai said, “Chanakya and his teachings have been relevant for ages. This film brings out the teachings of Chanakya from a management perspective.

"The film has three important aspects – A story line, real life leaders of corporate India and original sutras from the Kautilya’s Arthashastra. The film is based on research of many scholars as well as the creative effort of Shemaroo team. I am sure every person will be proud to see ancient Indian teachings in this new film format.”
