Mumbai, Jun 27: Himangi Singh Yadu recently won the Miss Asia Pacific World title which made Sushmita Sen extremely proud. Himanshi is a protégé of Sen’s ‘ I Am She’ unit. Sen has the rights in India, to send any contestant for the Miss Universe pageant as she its Indian representative . Under the wings of Tantra Entertainment Pvt. Ltd , Sushmita Sen is the founder of the National Beauty Pageant – ‘I Am She’. She was the first Indian to win the title of Miss Universe in 1994.
Sushmita Sen, an ex-Miss Universe has two adopted daughters, Renee and Alisah Sen, who always keep her busy. She states this as a reason for her 2 year gap between films. She is although looking forward to returning on the big screen with a few films that she has recently signed up for.
Sen has also ventured into production with the film ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’ which has been on hold for a couple of years. Reasons being that no one is convinced yet to sponsor the film or carry it forward on a big scale.
Recently she won the Hall of Fame award for the best woman entrepreneur from Planman Media's Powerbrands. The ecstatic 36 – year old told media that after 18 years in showbiz she has finally won an award as an entrepreneur which makes her very proud.
