London, Aug 10 (IANS/RIA Novosti): Usain Bolt scorched to Olympic gold in the men's 200 metres Thursday, blazing into the history books as the first sprinter to retain both sprint titles.
The 25-year-old Jamaican raced home in 19.32 to beat out teammate Yohan Blake, who ran 19.44, into silver.
Warren Weir took the bronze in 19.84 to make it a Jamaican clean sweep.
Bolt won both the 100m and 200m sprints in Beijing.
Bolt recorded the second-fastest 100 metres ever of 9.63 seconds Sunday to beat Blake to that gold medal too.
