Bantwal, Nov 25:
Talks of internal conflicts between two groups within the local Congress have been making the rounds quite for sometime now, but on Saturday November 24, the differences were out in the open when Congress leaders Sagir Ahmed and Venkatesh arrived to discuss about candidates for the upcoming assembly elections.

During their visit, dispute arose among supporters of B Ramanath Rai, district Congress president and those of Ashwani Kumar Rai, KPCC secretary. The supporters of the two groups started shouting slogans in support of their candidates, leading to a chaos.

Sagir Ahmed and Venkatesh had been to the city to gather information from Congress leaders and voters. As soon as they entered the block Congress office, the supporters of the two groups started shouting slogans and barged in.

Chaos and squabbles lasted among the two groups for a long time. The supporters were finally sent out of the office and a meeting between Beltangady, Bantwal, Panemangalore blocks and party leaders was held.

Later the leaders held a long discussion with Ashwani Kumar and his supporters. Though no definite information is available of what transpired during the meeting, it is said that Ashwani told the leaders that he was being sidelined by the party.

Speaking to reporters, Sagir Ahmed and Venkatesh said that they came here not to choose candidates and that such decision would be left to the high command.

"We have come here only to gather information about the selection of candidates and to strengthen the party as per the order of the high command. The final decision will be left to the party leaders," they said.

On the conflict among the two groups, he said it was a result of the love and affection shown by party workers towards their leaders.

Dear fellow commentators, why are we fighting because 2 Rai's are fighting ?
Honestly from heart no one can deny, All parties do in-fighting.
In fighting WAS there, IS there and WILL be there forever in this fallen world! We see it in SCRIPTURES OF SEVERAL RELIGIONS! Few are born to unite more are there to divide and scatter!
    Because of infighting today:
    1. We have several religions.
    2. We have several languages.
    3. We have Border disputes.
    4. We have dozens of political parties, castes, divisions, food habits and traditions!
    5. In the end, We fight more, understand less, gain less loose more!
    People accept whom they like!
Just express views and leave it to fate.
There are no permanent enemies nor friends! It is matter of time!

Some people assume that Congress which fared 2nd in the poll far behind BJP(missed SM by wisker) dint form the Govt in 2008 by Joining hands with the 3rd runner up and thus showed their Saidhathika principle. To form aliance your partner should also agree to the seat sharing terms, but Congi's wanted Lion share which Gowdru dint agree(reasonable decision)so they were left only with Dombaraata in the name of Paadayaathre.
    According to Congi’s

Congress-Jds coalition(2004)-secularist of the secular allaiance.
BJP-JDS(2006) coalition- One communal & another pseudo-secular so illicit relationship.
2008- BJP independents O-Kamala victims: communal, illicit, opportunist, corrupt, incumbent Govt. (i agree for the later parts, no doubt)
If Congress-KJP-BSR-(2013) coalition- secularist of the secular alliance again. (One born secular-another old congress henchmen another one of course Mass leader, Ligaayat & victim of BJP’s high command politics (so secular this time))
If in case BJP-KJP alliance (2013)- Communal criminal alliance(coz the latter is criminal booked in lokayukta report(no more mass leader, only the most corrupt CM on Karnataka)).
If by any chance BJP-JDS coalition in 2014 – Again illicit relationship, demand CBI probe into last 8 years of what happened in Karnataka. KJP Yeddi will also join this lolly.
By using emergency number to dial CBI by any chance Congress-JDS coalition ( of course again all secular). Victim in this case will be only KJP Yeddi & Sriramulu.
So the best chances for Congress to form Govt next time without any hindrance is only the below coalition. Congress-I Governor -Kai(HDB) . Now this makes some sense even though its nonsense.
So will congress effectively use the leftovers of BJP to convince people that they did this, they did that & we dint do that nor this, to sit in a driver seat or loose even the current seats & finally manage to do a Kichdi Govt with Congress-KJP-BRS-JDS-independents-Governor alliance is a MILLION $ QUESTION.

Though there was inner fights, BJP did development works in state which were missing during congress rule. Remember, there is a Governor's hand also in this for which he has been sent to state from Sonia.

Inner fighting are there with every party. Look at these congress people, when they are not power, they are fighting like this. Imagine if they are voted to power. Day and night they will spend in fighting. Corruption and leg pulling are the agenda of congress, nothing else.

When a party wins 110 seats, just 2 less than what is required they are the ones who need to claim stake to form the govt. Congress was not able to form govt. They needed support of JDS as well as independents in any case.

Remember in 2004 BJP won majority 80 seats. Everyone was expecting BJP-JDS coalition Govt. But this power hungry Congress kept BJP at the bay with the help of stupid gowdas. Your congress CM Dharm Sing was dancing to the tunes of Devegowda.

There is BJP,Congress and JDS in the fray.Every party is trying to pit candidates on caste lines and ground level work is going on now to assess which caste is in majority. In Bantwal constituency Billavas are in majority. Its a fact that BJP has not lived upto the level of expectations of the people though they reposed confidence in last election. Then who is left?Congress is already tested and we know JDS.Ee moovaralli yaaru hithavaru?Obviously BJP because now the stregy is not admn to get rid of this minority menace especially in DK.Look at two days old news in this web relating public nuisense created in Kaup area by minority faction. When there is the this position when BJP is ruling what we can expect if Cog or JDS rule?Point to ponder and BJP is the only alternative acceptible to all castes/religion and any factions(except KFD,CFI,PFI)
This is the ground reality in Mangalore/DK one believes it or not.

Even then these fishes at time tries to eat small fishs from rivers which fetchs few hundred or some thousand crores. If its not for BJP's $#!t in karnataka these fish's had nothing to eat in upcoming assembly polls. This sea is patrollled by law and investigation departments which using baits such as Yeddi and Ramulu,is attempting to come back to pwer to eat whatever is left over from their previous rule and current incombent govt's rule. I hopw wish & prey even though it may enjoy the driver seat for sometime this sea should become "Dead Sea".

Watch out who will represent which party in the election may a surprise. All parties have dissents which is natural and bound to.Because MLA seats are limited. When we assess the scenarios under given circumstances,it is ironic to note that a party which is considered cadre based, party with differences and disciplined,BJP is in the disintegration mode !!! Our friends in DAIJIWORLD almost came to the conclusion that BJP will rule Karnataka for 50 years!!!As far as Congress party considered,it has great history and seen so many ups and downs, dissents, break ups etc etc yet it remains a sole national political party in India.CONGRESS IS SEA and will not dry till world ends.

Don't dream big. I agree few MLAs will go to KJP from BJP. The approximate count may be around 25-30. This will surely affect BJP, but not benefit congress.

Congress fight is just beginning now. This is just the preview of the big show. Wait for some more days Siddu, Parameshwara, Shamanur, Krishna, BC Patil's group will start fighting each other as the election date approaches. Their fight will be very big compared to this one. People who do not get ticket will contest from KJP and JDS. When a person from other party gets ticket (as you say), people who are there with congress from long years and their supporters will not keep quiet.

Few congress MLAs (mainly NCP aspirants) are already in touch with Yeddyurappa as per the TV reports. They are ready to quit congress if their demand is not met. Siddu is upset with Krishna's entry. He will be sidelined in next election as many MLAs are against giving top position to him. Muslim votes will be divided between Congress, JDS, KJP and BJP. Gone are the days of congress supremacy. Congress path is not smooth. This time people have more alternatives for congress.

There seems to be some problem here. When Sonia Gandhi of all the people visited Kudroli, all the buses coming from the bantwal side had Amarnath Rai's photos. But later that evening, AR is nowhere to be seen...I guess let alone handshake but Sonia probably did not like his smell and AR had inkling of this and wanted his portraits all over the place to send a message to Sonia that he is the "man" of DK and not somebody whose name rhymes with oooonjari. And now this...either AR is day dreaming or we aam aadmis are getting it totally wrong..either way...they are all funny jokers whose one point agenda is to make a joke of aam aadmi and "rule for life". Congress party is a disgrace...that does not mean BJP automatically is otherwise...its sad really...we have no other option but to laugh at our fate as these people have succeeded admirably in dividing the aam aadmi constituency.
