Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 25 (IANS): Kerala Tourism's road shows in Europe have received a good response, signifying once again that the state coninues to be a prime destination for tourists from the continent, Tourism Minister A.P. Anil Kumar says.

The state tourism department held road shows in the cities of Brussels, Lyon and Rome (Italy).

"We will certainly plan more activities for this market in the future," Kumar said after the Rome road show ended Thursday.

"I'm sure our efforts to promote environmentally sustainable projects and responsible tourism will attract more travellers from Europe."

Kerala Tourism Director Rani George, who made presentations to invited guests, said travellers from Europe are also likely to be interested in new products designed to promote historically and culturally significant destinations in the state.
