Infosys net up 3.4 percent in fourth quarter


Bangalore, Apr 12 (IANS): Infosys reported net profit of Rs.2,394 crore (Rs.24 billion) for fourth quarter (January-March) of fiscal 2012-13, registering a marginal 3.4 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth and 1.1 percent sequentially, as per Indian accounting standard.

In a regulatory filing Friday, the IT bellwether said consolidated revenue for the quarter (Q4) under review, however, rose 18 percent YoY to Rs.10,454 crore (Rs.105 billion) and flat (0.3 percent) sequentially.

Under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), net income declined 4.1 percent YoY to $444 million but up 2.3 percent sequentially, while gross revenue grew 9.4 percent YoY to $1.94 billion, which is a marginal increase of 1.4 percent sequentially.
