Japan's consumer prices fall


Tokyo, Apr 26 (IANS): Japan's consumer prices fell 0.5 percent in March from a year earlier, according to government data released Friday.

The core consumer price index, excluding fresh foods, stood at 99.5 against the 2010 base of 100, reported Xinhua citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
