Bharath Bank achieves another milestone in business

Mumbai, Dec 30: Bharath cooperative bank, one of the prestigious cooperative banks in the city has created another milestone in banking.

The total business of the bank has crossed Rs 10,000 crores on December 27, 2013.  The bank has lent Rs 4,139 crores by way of loans and advances and has deposits of Rs 5,869 crores.

Jaya C Suvarna, president, responsible for the progress of the bank celebrated the occasion on December 28, 2013 by cutting a large cake at their head office.

Rohini J Salian, vice president of the bank, directors M B Kukyan, Vasudev R Kotian, Pushpalatha Salian, Jaya A Kotian, U Shivaji Poojary, Bhaskara M Salian, Chandrashekar S Poojary, Rohit M Suvarna, Harish G Mulki, Damodar C Kunder, R D Poojary, K B Poojary, Gangadhara J Poojary, Suryakanth J Suvarna, Ashoka M Kotian, Alphalagan C Harijan, Jyothi K Suvarna and administrative director C R Mulki, Chief accountant Anil Kumar R Amin and senior officials, staff and customers were present.

A new deposit scheme Bharath 10K was inaugurated for the customers.  Jaya C Suvarna, president of the programme, thanked all the members of the bank, customers, staff and well wishers and requested for continued cooperation on the occasion.
