The results were declared at all district exam centres and schools, said T M Kumar, director, Secondary Education Board. A pass percentage of 68.46 per cent has been recorded, which is the highest in the last few years.

Out of a total of 8,23,940 students who answered the examination 5,64,035 have passed. As before, girls have outdone the boys. Out of 4,58,685 boys, 3,03,588 have passed whereas among 2,60,447 girls the pass percentage is 71.31 per cent.
