Mumbai, Sep 16 (IANS): Actor Vivek Oberoi, who had earlier cancelled his birthday plans as he was tied up with a blood donation campaign, now wants to make up by taking his wife and son to Mauritius for a vacation.
He turned 38 on Sep 3 and spent the day on promoting the Mega Blood Donation Drive. Before he gets busy with the shoot of his upcoming movie "Bank Chor", the actor wants to spend quality time with his family.
"This year I couldn't celebrate my birthday with my family as I was busy with blood donation drive. I have managed to squeeze out some time for them for a small trip before I start shooting for YRF's 'Bank Chor'," Vivek said in a statement.
He was last seen in "Krrish 3".

Madhuri 'practising' hard for 'Jhalak...' finale
Actress Madhuri Dixit may be a pro at dancing, but when it comes to performance, she believes in rehearsing.
She judges dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" along with filmmaker Karan Johar and choreographer-director Remo D'Souza.
If contestants are slogging to win the title, Madhuri too is pushing the limits for her performance at the finale of the celebrity dance show.
“Been practicing for the Jhalak finale! Pushing the limits hard... hope you like it!” Madhuri tweeted Tuesday.
Ashish Sharma, Karan Tacker, Mouni Roy and Shakti Mohan will be seen vying for the winners trophy at the finale, which will be aired Saturday on Colors.

Big B urges fans to support Mumbai film fest
The Mumbai Film Festival is facing a funds crunch for its forthcoming 16th edition this year and megastar Amitabh Bachchan is urging people to aid it.
Celebrities like Aamir Khan, Hansal Mehta and Anupama Chopra have supported the fest organised annually by the Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image (MAMI).
“The film festival of Mumbai MAMI needs support. It is a flourishing festival that encourages the best in the cinema world. Please!” Amitabh tweeted.
