Puttur, Dec 9: The case in which the father of a person named Denson had filed a complaint in the town police station here has seen a twist. In the said complaint, Denson's father had said that he and his son were waiting outside the local court when four persons had abducted Denson.

Complaint against Denson had been filed relating to the disappearance of Keertika, a married woman from Kallare ,sometime back. Denson, who was the prime suspect, and working in Bangalore, had come here to attend the court. Keertika's family had alleged that Keertika and Denson had come closer when Keertika was working in Bangalore. Denson's father had claimed that he and his son were sitting in a jeep outside the court when Keertika's husband, father, and two other strangers had come there in a Maruti car and taken Denson away.

A case against Giridhar Bhat, husband of Keeertika, her father, Nityananda Vaidya, and two others had been registered on the basis of the said complaint. The police had launched a search operation for Denson. On Monday, Denson, in a surprise move, appeared in the court here throrugh his lawyer. He claimed that he had not been abducted, but he on his own had fled after seeing Keertika's father and husband near the court. He also explained that he had stayed at some other place for a week.

The police in the meanwhile, are looking into the veracity of the abduction complaint filed by Denson's father.

Among all these confusion, the police have been unable to find the whereabouts of Keertika, who reportedly fled from Kallare here in the company of Denson and one of his friends.
