Mangaluru: Coastal districts experience unexpected light rains

Mangaluru, Mar 2: The first day of March month has brought rains in the state including in the twin districts.

Bengaluru experienced light rains on Sunday evening.The highest rain in the state was seen at Gaurubidanur in Chikkabalapur district at 4 centimeters.

In the costal districts, Belthangady and Sullia taluks saw mild rains during the day. Udupi saw its first rains during afternoon. Kundapur had its rains with heavy breeze. Dark clouds could be seen in Kundapur and Karkal till evening.

Ullal, Mudipu and Konaje had the rains late night. In Manjeshwar, the unexpected rains lasted for more than 20 minutes.

In Mangaluru city, light rains poured in the evening during the Hindu Samajothsava at Nehru Maidan. For thousands of people who walked in the procession amid heat, the rain droplets sent cooling effect.

    Signs of climate change,please don't expect normal summer or normal monsoon henceforth as nature cannot keep repairing and reversing whatever and however we treat it.we have crossed all limits and we have to be ready to face the consequences,nature will teach us that in its eyes the haves and havenots are all equal.

    One more addition to the above comment nature will not even differentiate between Hindu,Muslim and Christian.all are one in her eyes.
