Mangalore, Feb 8: A two-day inter-collegiate fashion competition "Kadana 2007" was inaugurated at Mangalore Institute of Fashion Technology (MIFT) here on Thursday February 8 morning.

The competition was inaugurated by Sadhashiv Shetty fo INTUC.  Gopalkrishna Bhat of Bharati College was the chief guest on the occasion.

Various events such as solo singing, debate, extemper, painting, pencil sketching and mock press will be held during the two-day competitions.

MIFT founder M G Hegde and principal Kasturi Shetty were also present at the inaugural function.
