Udupi, Mar 1: A two-day international symposium 'Hospitality Vision-2007' organized by Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration was held at Manipal here on Tuesday February 27 and Wednesday February 28.
The symposium was inaugurated by Russel Arthur, vice-dean of Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management, Singapore. Dr H S Ballal, pro-chancellor of Manipal University presided over the inaugural ceremony.
Dr Satyajit Majumdar, Associate Professor of T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal, presented a talk on 'Entrepreneurship-in Emerging Areas in Service Industry' during the course of the symposium.
