Mangalore, Mar 21: In response to the directives of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to introduce sex education in schools, the local unit of Students’ Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) will stage a protest on Wednesday March 21.

The protest will begin from NGO Hall (clock tower) and end at DC’s office.

A press release stated that though the move has been introduced for educating on prevention of AIDS, it will be misused by many to pollute the minds of innocent children.

The SIO also alleged that the vices of shamelessness have been already transmitted through media like cinema, advertisements, internet and television and now even education is not being spared.

The release further stated that the move will generate disease and not cure.
