Udupi, Mar 26: In a road mishap, two persons were killed on Sunday.
Two persons riding on a motorcycle were knocked down by a speeding bus on National Highway 17 in Uchila near Padubidri.
The deceased have been identified as Girish Shetty (32) resident of Theerthahalli, rider of the motorcycle and Anand Shetty (45) of Perdoor in Udupi, the pillion rider
They were returning after visiting their relatives in Ucchila. A case has been filed at the Padubidri police station.
