Mangalore, Mar 25: Link De-addication and Rehabilitation Centre organised the 70th community-based de-addiction camp here on Sunday March 25. The camp was organised in collaboration with Karnataka State Temperance Board, Bangalore at the Link Centre premises.

Speaking after inaugurating the camp, MLA N Yogish Bhat said that the state was concerned about the health of its citizens and this was evident in the decision to ban arrack. He called for a united effort from de-addiction centres and NGO's in implementing this order efficiently.

Director of Link De-Addiction Centre also spoke on the occasion.

The camp will include discussions, medical check-ups and yoga.

Among those present were Link secretary Austin Peres and area coordinator Premananda Shetty.
