Mangalore, Mar 27: The graduation day ceremony of K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) was held at the college premises here on Monday March 26.
Speaking on the occasion, internationally acclaimed orthopaedic surgeon and president of Swiss Association of Surgeons Dr Thomas Ruedi explained the process of learning and storing information for later use. He said that knowledge, skills and attitude make up the learning process.
As many as 91 MBBS students received graduation certificates. Special awards were presented to medical graduates M Sham, S Vijeta Shenoy and S Ramya for their outstanding academic achievements.
The programme was presided over by Nitte Education Trust president N Vinay Hegde.
Among those present were former Chief Justice of Supreme Court Justice S Rajendra Babu, KSHEMA dean Dr Shantaram Shetty, Prof B Vasanti Shetty and others.
