Udupi, Mar 27: Roopa Gomes (31), wife of Fredrick John Gomes of Mallampally near Perampally here has gone missing from Tuesday March 20.
In a complaint filed with the Manipal police station Fredrick Gomes has mentioned that Roopa had gone out of the house on March 20 but did not return thereafter. While going she has taken ornaments and cash from the house. Roopa and Fredrick have a child Abigail who is studying in class 1.
Roopa is the daughter of William D'Mello of Gopalapura near Kallianpur-Santhekatte. She had been given in marriage to Fredrick some 10 years ago. Fredrick is working as mechanic in Nigeria for long.
Roopa has studied upto II PUC and is fluent in Konkani, Kannada, Tulu and Hindi. Those who have any details about her whereabouts are requested to contact the following numbers:
