Mangalore, Mar 28: A national seminar on `Development, Civil Society and Third Sector: The Emerging Perspectives' was organised by the Mangalore University at the Old Senate Hall on Tuesday.

International Simultaneous Policy Organisation founder and director John Bunzl who delivered the key note address on the occasion said that when businesses gain global perspectives they can withstand competition. With globalization one can look at his/her business from a local perspective, he added.

Bunzl advised the business community to invest wherever costs are low and profit are high. He pointed that the main cause for underdevelopment is the existing inequality.

Mangalore University vice-chancellor Prof K M Kaveriappa presided over the programme. World Thinkers Forum chairman Dr Timi Ecimovic inaugurated the seminar.
