Mangalore, Mar 28: The general body meeting of the South Kanara Photographer's Association (SKPA) Mulki zone held in Hotel Adhidan Hall, Mulki Tuesday March 27.  SKPA president Dayanand Payyade and advocate Bhaskar Hegde were the chief guests on the occasion.

New office-bearers for the year 2007-08 were elected at the meeting.  Following are the office bearers:

President: K Ashwathnarayan Rao
Vice-presidents: Nagesh and Mohan.
Secretary: Lionel Pinto (Daijiworld Correspondent, Kinnigoli)
Joint Secretary: Raphael Rebello
Sports Secretaries: Suresh Padmanoor K B Suresh
 
Jayananda of Pratibha Studio Mulki was honoured during the function for his service to the association of long.

Later addressing the gathering Bhaskar Hegde called the photographers to be sensitive to the needs of the society not only behind the camera but even in real life. He stressed upon the need of being prompt in profession and striving to give best to the society in whatever way possible.

Bhagyawan Sanil welcomed the gathering. Ashwatnarayan presented the annual report. Lionel Pinto proposed the vote of thanks and compered the programme.
