Udupi, Mar 28: Lanco, the company which has reportedly bought the Nagarjuna Power Project, has been indulging in malpractices, Nagarjuna Virudha Horata Samiti president Lakshman Shetty has said.
Speaking to press persons here on Tuesday March 27, Shetty alleged that Lanco had previously lost the contract of a project in Madhya Pradesh after it was discovered that the company had made false claims.
The public should be wary of Lanco and Nagarjuna, he said.
Samiti technical advisor Vijaykumar Hegde was also present at the press meet.
