Mangalore, Mar 28: Indian Air Force will organize an air show at Panambur beach on Sunday April 8.

This was announced in a press conference by deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao here on Wednesday March 28 afternoon.

He further said that the air show has been organized on the occasion of platinum jubilee celebrations of Indian Air Force.  “The event is going to be a first-in-its-kind in the city and we hope that it would attract huge crowds,” he added.

“Suryakiran”, the aerobatic team of Indian Air Force with 89 members and 8 aeroplanes would perform various air shows and aerobatics.  The main purpose of this aerobatic show is to motivate local youth on join Indian Air Force

Superintendent of police B Dayananda and headquarters’ assistant A G Bhat were also present at the press conference.
