Serena holds top spot in WTA rankings


Madrid, May 25 (IANS): American Serena Williams continued to lead the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) singles rankings, published on Monday, with 9,361 points.

The week's rankings stayed intact with Russia's Maria Sharapova in second place with 7,710 points, followed by Romanian Simona Halep in third place with 7,360.
