Udupi, Apr 12: New federation of self-help groups Pragadhi Bandhu Okkuta was inaugurated at Hiriyadka and two other villages here by Dharmastala Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade on Tuesday April 10.
Addressing the gathering he lauded the efforts of women in forming SHGs and said that that they were the torch-bearers of the SHG system. He further said that SHG’s not only develops discipline but also made one self-reliant.
