Kundapur, Apr 13: The grand annual car festival of Shree Kshetra Kamalshile was held here on Thursday April 12.

Shree Kshetra Kamalashile is a well-known religious centre in the coastal district and has devotees spread all across the district.  The local deity Shree Brahmi Durgaparameshwari is considered to be a source of miracles by devotees.

The idol of the deity was taken on a procession in the presence of huge number of devotees who were present on the occasion.  The grand finale of the day was the village feast in which devotees partook with devotion and shared holy prasadam of Goddess Durga.

    This temple & its location is really beautiful. Usually we never miss the Car festival held during April.
