India opt to bat against Bangladeh in second ODI


Mirpur (Bangladeh), June 21 (IANS): India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and decided to bat against Bangladesh in the second One-Day International (ODI) of their three-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium here on Sunday.

India made three changes in their team. Ambati Rayudu, Axar Patel and Dhawal Kulkarni come in place of Ajinkya Rahane, Umesh Yadav and Mohit Sharma.

The teams:

Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Litton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Sabbir Rahman, Nasir Hossain, Mashrafe Mortaza (captain), Mustafizur Rahman, Rubel Hossain, Taskin Ahmed.

India: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Dhawal Kulkarni, Suresh Raina, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ambati Rayudu, Axar Patel.
