Bantwal, May 3: Blessing and Holy Eucharist at the renovated holy cross and building at Kayarmar near Amtady was held on Tuesday May 1 evening.
Fr Peter Noronha, parish priest of Bendur, inaugurated the Holy Cross and later offered Holy Eucharist holy mass here. Fr Roque D’Sa blessed the new building. Fr Dolphy Monteiro preached homily.
Later stage programme was held on which Fr Roque D’Sa presided over the function. Fr. Santhosh D’Sa, B Ramanath Rai, former minister, Bondala Jagannath Shetty, president, D K district youth Congress, Dolphy Prashanth D’Souza, secretary, D K youth Congress, Congress leaders Harikrishna Bantwal and Vishwas Das were present on the dais.
Richard Monteiro welcomed the gathering. Helen Frank presented the report. Anil Frank proposed vote of thanks. Herald Fernandes compered the programme.
