Mangalore, May 3: A Reserve Police constable who had been deputed on duty at Ullal police station has gone missing for the last five months.  It is quite strange that an official complaint about his going missing has been lodged after five months.

S D Gowda (42), a constable in VII Battalion of Reserve Police had been deputed on duty at Ullal police station.  He went missing almost 5 months ago and all efforts to trace him yielded no results.  Commandant of Reserve Police was informed about this immediately.  He had even promised to take suitable action in this regard.

But even after 5 months no progress has been achieved and S D Gowda still remains untraced.  Hence, S D Gowda's wife has filed a complaint with the Ullal police stating that her husband had gone missing on December 15, while on duty.

Those who have any details about his whereabouts are requested to contact Ullal police station on 2466269.
