Mangalore, May 4: 'Rachana', a forum of Catholic entrepreneurs and professionals held a lecture on "Importance of Communal Harmony from the Viewpoint of Entrepreneurs" at St Aloysius College auditorium here recently.

Retired Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Western Range K S Suresh Babu delivered a lecture on the above topic.  In his lecture he stressed on the need of communal harmony in coastal belt which is fast growing into an economic and industrial hub.

Later Paul Moras, president of All-India Konkani Parishad was honoured for his service to Konkani language and also for being elected as president of Konkani Parishad.

Rachana president Marcel Monteiro welcomed the gathering while Raymond D'Cunha Taccode proposed vote of thanks.
